The Wedding Itinerary

  • Travel Day/s

    6th February & 9th February

    For anyone flying into Auckland Airport or who is in Auckland there will be bus available to book for transport to and from Whangamata.

    6th Feb picking up 12pm (city) and 1pm (airport) on the 6th

    Returning on the 9th Feb estimating to be dropping back 12.30-ish (airport) and 1.30ish (city)

    Please email Kendrah if you need to book a seat on the bus and have not already done so.

  • Wedding Day

    7th February

    The big day you have traveled far and wide for has arrived.

    Location: Hillbrook Estate, 162F Whitipirorua Road, Whangamata

    Please be at the Venue from 3pm,

    Ceremony will start at 3.30pm

  • Beach Day

    8th February

    We invite you to join you to join us at the beach for a great casual summers day.

    11am - 4pm

    Bring a beach towel, lawn games a food and alcoholic drinks provided (unless the bar ran dry the night before)

Day One ~Wedding Day

  • Timings

    ~ 2.30pm - 3pm Bus pick ups from Marine Apartments (412 Ocean Road, Whangamata)

    ~ 3.30pm Ceremony

    ~ 4.00pm Cocktail Hour

    ~ 6.00pm Sit down for Dinner

    ~ 8pm Dancing the night away…

    ~ 11.30 Last call for buses back Whangamata

  • Dress Code

    This will be a outdoor ceremony in summer.

    It is a cocktail dress code, no stubbies or flip flops this time guys, but we would recommend a wedge or block heel ladies as you will be on grass.

    The weather is typically ranging from around 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F) during the daytime. However it is often cooler in the evening so we suggest bringing a jacket, jumper, cardigan or wrap.

  • Food

    Canapes will be served at the cocktail hour after the ceremony.

    Dinner Main options are

    1. BBQ'd Moroccan spiced butterflied lamb with harissa dressing, pomegranate, fresh mint

    2. Côtes famous Manuka hot smoked salmon with dill & caper yoghurt

    3. Slow roasted eggplant for any Vegetarian or Vegan requirements

    For any dietary requirements - please state this on the RSVP Form.

  • Getting there

    Bus

    There is an organised bus that will pick up and drop off from the Marine Apartments ~ 412 Ocean Road, Whangamatā,
    Timing of this will be in from 2.pm onwards.

    Car

    You can drive directly to the venue as there is car parking on site,
    Hillbrook Estate, 162F Whitipirorua Road, Whangamata.
    Please arrive from 3pm

    Taxi

    Black Cab co - only run a night service on Thursday Friday & Saturday in February so we recommend you to take the bus instead to get to the venue if you are not driving

Day Two ~ Beach day

We thought why not have a classic kiwi beach day to make use of the private beach on the property and enjoy (hopefully) the summers weather and share stories from the day before. This is a casual day so please bring along any parents, family members or friends that may have been on baby sitting duty the day before.

Food Truck will be opening at 11am and will be serving up brunch and lunch until 4pm, there will be some lawn games and beach games but please bring a towel with you.

For those that want to jump on the hair of the dog we will be polishing off the bar leftovers so don’t worry about that party finishing just yet. For those wanting to take thing a bit easier bring some picnic drinks along.
